Although Lord Byron’s memoirs were believed to have been destroyed after his death in 1821, due to their content, the author claims to have discovered another copy of them in Greece in the early seventies. Listed by some as a novel by Nicole, nevertheless it is a very convincing and entertaining piece of work.

There is no dust jacket with this copy, Other than for a very minor bump to the rear lower cover board, and a slight slackness to the boards, the book is in good condition.
