New Horizons 1968, Volume 7 I – Life rafts. Unless you are missing this volume for a set it is going to be an oddity. Nevertheless, it is very well written and interesting, covering a lot of ground relative to the subject matter. It is profusely illustrated throughout, in both colour and black and white and must contain something for everyone. Under the section ‘ Kamikaze ’ for instance, is a section on the Baka Bomb, the small, piloted plane used for suicide attacks during WW2. There is a in-depth section on The Kennedy Space Centre, or Interplanetary Monitoring Platform Satellites. The whole book is in very nice condition and would be relished by anyone who has an interest in flight.
