ENIGMATIC ENGLAND

Nick Meers and Sue Seddon, ASP 1991.

From coal to cathedral, from Art Deco factory to powerful rock-strewn landscapes, the essence of England is richly varied and elusive. The author’s outstanding colour photographs capture the enigmatic nature of England from the northern border to the last wildernesses of the West Country, and from the Essex marshes to the Shropshire hills. Sue Seddon’s evocative texts explores the stories behind the places, revealing how history has shaped the land, and how it reflects us.

A beautiful book, apart from the jacket being price clipped and some very slight light tanning to the tops of some of the pages ( this is very slight indeed. In my view, this enhances the book by giving a slight impression of tinting) both the book and it’s jacket are in very good condition
