When the Union Jack was raised at Port Stanley in July 1982 it may have been the end of the Falklands war, but it certainly wasn’t the end of the Falklands story. During the last twelve months (this book was published a year after the end of the war), only some of the problems caused by the conflict have been solved, and many new ones have arisen. Using both official and unofficial sources this book tells the inside story of those twelve months in a fascinating, yet authoritative style.

Apart from some very minor chafing, very slight creasing, and a one cm vertical split at the top front towards the spine (all on the jacket), both the book and the dust jacket are in very good condition. The pages are nice and clean and the book is illustrated in colour throughout
