THE DIARY OF A LONDON EXPLORER, FORTY YEARS OF VITAL LONDON LIFE.

 William Margrie.

 Watts & Co., 1st 1934.

8vo, 125 pages, Appreciation by E.V.Lucas. A charming pastiche of various districts, streets, buildings and visitor attractions are wandered in and out of by the author. Each one is described in detail. The author’s laid back style conveys the fact that time lies comfortably on his hands. At the time of publication he was President of The London Explorers Club.

There is no dust jacket. The blue cover boards have some slight creasing and edge wear and there is a small stain to the rear, adjacent to the spine head. There is light and limited foxing, mostly to the endpapers and a very neat, stylish owner’s signature in ink atop the fep. Still tightly bound.
