If natural resources are treated as inexhaustible, the time will inevitably arrive when they become exhausted. Man first dominated, then harvested, then raped and denuded land and forests, seas and estuaries and obliterated an unbelievable number of plant and animal species. Especially in the last three or four generations the process of destructions has accelerated to such an extent that, even with our full knowledge of the consequences, natural resources are becoming so scarce that man’s very survival is now in danger. This book is a good in-depth treatment of the subject and will be of interest to a wide ranging number of people. It would be interesting to note what, if any, differences have occurred between now and when the book was published!

Other than being price clipped, both the book and it’s jacket are in good condition, and the pages are nice and clean.
