THE NEW £5 NOTE AND GEORGE STEPHENSON

Debden Security 1990.

A history of George Stephenson and the rocket, produced in a large format soft cover book, and explaining how the design of the new (at 1990) £5 note has been configured to incorporate aspects of the design and illustrations of the Rocket. Illustrated in both colour and black and white, the book is interesting in two aspects in that it incorporates two entirely unrelated subjects in the same way that the designer of the note did, and describes them both in detail here. An concept which is both interesting and (therefore) absorbing.

The book is in good condition, and would be of interest to either a designer or a rail enthusiast!
