THE OLYMPICS 1896 – 1972.

A large, soft cover book, packed with colour photographs and diagrams, in support of the British Olympic Appeal. There are lots of interesting articles and features and the usual minutiae; Bob Braithwaite, for instance, the British Clay Pigeon Champion, paid for each and every one of his cartridges personally! There is a quiz at the back, and a scrapbook facility, together with a colour plan and layout of the Olympic Village, Munich 1972. It is terrible to think that a gathering with such noble intent could have such horrific consequences as it did do.

The book is in very good condition, clean and tightly bound.
