128 pages, large format, crown quarto. Seven chapters covering the life of reptiles in general. well written and illustrated with photographs and diagrams in both colour and black-and-white. The book has benefited from having a fitted plastic cover at some time and has a picture of a Galapagos tortoise. Apart from having a neatly written name in ink on the fep, the book is in good condition.
