WILD ENDEAVOUR

Wild Endeavour is an amalgam of fascinating and interesting experiences in the life of a man with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge of the birds and animals of the highlands of Scotland. A happy chance in early days linked photography with natural history, and in the ever-continuing quest for new information about animal and bird behaviour. A love of trees inherited from his father, and several severe illnesses suffered in early life, determined him to choose the out-of-doors life of a professional forester. This gave him unrivalled opportunities for observation and discovery. A great enthusiasm and enormous patience, which made nothing of difficult climbs, long tramps, cold nights out, and endless hours of watching, have enabled him to collect together a wealth of information and some unique pictures.

There is a little minor creasing at the outer parts of the dust jacket, which has been price clipped. The outer edges of the boards have a small amount of light sunning. The pages are clean and tightly bound and the photographs, both colour and black and white, are an interesting and skilful example of wildlife photography
