 Crown 4to, 200 pages. An informative and enlightening book by Ronald Lockley, illustrated with excellent photographs in both colour and black and white, and superb illustrations by Elizabeth Surrey. A nice book for anyone interested in the history and folklore surrounding these magnificent animals.

There is no dust jacket, minor edgewear, odd light marks to the cover boards, the worst of which is a light, white, drag scar across the lower front board which is fairly insignificant. The pages are clean and tightly bound and the content is excellent.
