The autobiography of Sherpa Tensing, translated by James Ramsey Ullman. The book is illustrated with maps and photographs to support the text. The dedication is ‘To Chomolunga’, in the name of all Sherpas and all climbers in the world.

There is no dust jacket, the leather title patch at the spine head is a little worn at the edges and has lifted slightly on one corner. This will glue down, however. Apart from light tinting to the verso of the rear endpaper the book is in very good condition, the pages are clean and tightly bound. A nice copy.
