The front and rear cover photos are of the guides of the 1^st Paddington Company, London. A nostalgic look at some of the happy and in many ways innocent childhoods in which many of those people who took part must now wonder where it all disappeared to!

The dustjacket is rubbed on  the extremities, and is quite badly creased at the rear, top section, with a small tear, although everything is in place. There is a very small chip at the bottom, in the centre of the section. The price has been clipped. There is a very slight browning to some page edges, although the majority are very clean, and there are no additions by ‘young authors ‘.
