Chris Ellis W.H.Smith 1979. The story of military aviation – of combat aircraft – is almost entirely one of the present century, and this authoritative book traces that story from the very first beginnings of aviation, when man first took himself into the sir for warlike reasons. The book is large format and very heavy, 255 pages packed with photographs in both colour and black and white. The dust jacket has a little light wear to the outer edges and a 3cm vertical split at the front rear leading edge – or should it be trailing edge? Other than for this both the book and the dust jacket are in very good condition. Due to its weight, perhaps surface or parcel post might be recommended. |
