 One of Nelson’s The “Teaching of History” Series, with General Editor John Buchan. Sixteen chapters covering the First to the Eighth Crusades, results, and associated commerce and trade. The endpapers are maps of the Crusades and of Europe.

 There is no dust jacket, some light stains to the boards, minor edge wear, the spine has faded, the blocking on the cover device is still gold but faded, A few light marks inside the boards. Originally presented as a church prize there is a two line church identification stamp on the fep, together with an ink inscription. Good condition
