 A very comprehensive book on chemists and chemistry, covering the period from 1627, to 1919, only sixteen years before this book was reprinted (1^st 1921, then 1929,, and 1935).

 There is no dust jacket, the gutter is split at the fep, causing very minor slackness. This will glue, however. The book is very clean and in good condition. Illustrated.
