 Although his book is over a half a century old, the joints and elements of construction mentioned in it must be fairly timeless. There are instructions on how to select the right type of wood, all about tools, workshop, and of course measurements and instructions for making just about everything that might be needed about the home and how to stain and polish it once it is made.

 There are a couple of light indents to the boards front and rear, possibly where someone has gripped it, but these are only very slight. The book is in good condition and the pages are very clean and tightly bound
