 At one time, Shewell-Cooper was as ubiquitous a name to gardening as Percy Thrower.  His many publications have passed on knowledge and gardening methods ever since, and are still just as useful today

 The top part of the dust jacket is missing to a depth of approximately an inch at the top front, and an inch square at the back, and is rubbed a the extremes. Other than for a small light stain to the front board (where the jacket is missing!), the book is in very good condition, clean and well bound.
